Supporters

Uniquely, around 50,000 Americans have been involved with "Journey with an Afghan School." They come from public and private schools, family foundations, book clubs, various religious institutions, colleges, community giving circles, Fortune 500 companies, and non-profits like Rotary and National Geographic.

Most of these U.S. supporters are paired with a "sister school" in Afghanistan.  In addition to raising funds to build, supply and maintain the various schools, communities also have participated in cultural exchanges and engaged in educational forums.  A number of individuals have even visited Afghanistan.
